although this collection wasn’t always considered as such

mr. simons's time as creative director at calvin klein came to an abrupt halt after rough criticism

supposedly the collections hit an awkward point between attainable & aspirational price points

& perhaps the belgian menswear legend was just a bit too ahead with the mid-century americana themes that the collections celebrated

cuz just a few years later, hindsight has become 20/20 & people are now giving it the credit it deserves

thus most of the pieces are very rare & held onto dearly by those who are fortunate to own

this sweater right here is constructed of virgin wool & made in italy

 & it seems to be damn near brand new

distressing is an intentional aspect of the design
