in effort to raise funds in aid to the covid-19 pandemic, the streetwear titans & the face of contemporary japanese art joined forces for the first time in 13 years

(mister murakami worked on a set of original skate decks for preme way back in 2007 before they really really blew up)

the resulting product is simple tbh: classic supreme box logo tee shirt mixed with takashi's signature flower illustrations

maybe supreme's recent output has been characterized as "repetitive" or "uninspired"... but i think this will remain one of the brands standout items

over time it's legend will strengthen... its an item that represents a special (& really weird) moment in streetwear/modern art history
