a pioneering figure in the early days of graffiti & hip hop culture

we’re talkin 1970’s!

he’s actually credited with inventing the bubble letter style that everyone thinks of when they hear the term “graffiti”

he played an integral role to the culture, innovating styles, directing Magazines, participating in early hip hop shows

as his artistic journey progressed he transitioned from blasting subway trains to more traditional canvases exhibited in galleries

he linked with Supreme in 2006 for a 2 part collection of collage’d hats, tees & sweatshirts

in 2019 he passed due to ALS
