”lost weekend” taproom trucker hat

in may of 2023 contemporary american western artist matt mccormick opened a temporary space in santa monica described as “further continuing the exploration of the classic american dive bar & all that comes with it… recalling the summer of ‘74”

the project was an extension of mr. mccormick’s artistic vision & served as a unique gallery experience open for the public to visit for just 1 week only

a sponsor for the event was PBR & this trucker hat (as well as a tee) were sold exclusively in commemoration of the time

“one of these days” is mccormick’s own line of apparel & accessories that exist outside of his traditional studio art projects. these endeavors into the fashion space began in recent years & will surely be here many more days to come
